ProServ changing to EOH Workplace Learning
ProServ South Africa has been involved in skills development in South Africa since 1998. Over the past years we have gained valuable experience in a variety of industries and built a large network of private and public clients, ranging from rural SMMEs in Limpopo, Free State and the Eastern Cape to large cooperation’s like Investec, Oracle, Pick ‘n Pay, Transnet, South African Tourism and the National Department of Tourism. ProServ South Africa was acquired by EOH Abantu (Pty) Ltd, a Johannesburg Stock Exchange (“JSE”) listed organisation in January 2013. This resulted in the establishment of EOH Workplace Learning.
ProServ South Africa is tailored for new entrants into the industry – it is focused on providing a bridge into the job market for university and college graduates, as well as matriculants. At ProServ South Africa we aim to close gaps between private sector needs and skills offered by graduates and matriculats. At the same time we support companies to create constructive workplace environments for the new entrants. We prepare the learners with 3 to 12 months programmes in the workplace with a structured curriculum where they combine work and learning. The learning is practically-focused and is conducted in a learnership type of format.
Our guided and end-to-end solutions approach for learners and companies is successful and leads to a high percentage of learners placed in permanent employment. Approximately 80% of learners are placed in permanent employment.
